We are deeply saddened about the ongoing violence in Palestine/Israel.
We feel for the many people who have lost their loved ones, living in fear and terror. We also know that even in days of despair dialogue can continue. We don’t give up to talk to each other and finding ways to create a better future for the whole region. Dialogue is the foundation for the truly lasting peace that we are all longing for.
Next to devastating injustice and violence of the last year (2023-2024) we witnessed the resilience of people within FAB and outside of it – people that refuse to be enemies and hold on to Friendship Across Borders and hold on to their identity as peace activists.
Our Work goes on: In February 2025 we invited young Israelis, Palestinians and Germans up to 30 years to join an authentic encounter that moves between memory work and the transformation of the current conflict.
